Terra Australis States Assembly: 2024 Developments

Terra Australis States Assembly: 2024 Developments

Terra Australis States Assembly has made significant strides in 2024, establishing itself as a growing movement focused on self-governance and local jurisdiction in Australia.

Reflecting on 2024: Terra Australis States Assembly's Year of Momentum

Terra Australis States Assembly Website

By: Darren (Queensland State Coordinator)

As 2024 comes to a close, we reflect on the incredible progress made by the Terra Australis State Nationals (TASA) movement. This year has been transformative, laying the foundations for assembly-based self-governance and bringing our vision closer to reality. Here are some of the highlights of this landmark year:

Milestones and Achievements

Public Declaration of Self-Governance

On January 12, 2024, we publicly announced our intention to establish assembly-based self-governance across six states, publishing declarations in every paper willing to print them. This marked the beginning of a collective journey to reclaim our authority and realign governance with the will of the people. Since then, TASA coordinators and volunteers have worked tirelessly to shape a governance framework truly by and for the people. We are proud of our Nova Zeelandia brethren who also announced their intention to self-govern on December 19, 2024.

Structural Development and Outreach

We lean heavily on the work of Anna and the American assemblies, but we have a very different starting point to America. We are nearing completion defining the structure and key offices of the assemblies to suit local conditions. This work and these structures will ensure the assemblies are not merely symbolic but effective in enabling the voice and will of the people. In an extraordinary effort to spread the message and grow participation, Darren and Muki embarked on a 20,000-kilometre journey, holding 36 meetings over three months. They connected with communities across Terra Australis, answered questions, and inspired action. This monumental effort has significantly boosted awareness and enthusiasm, bringing countless new participants into the fold.

Digital Infrastructure and Communication

This year saw major improvements to the TASA website, transforming it into a central hub for resources, updates, and information. With a focus on accessibility, these upgrades have made it easier than ever for people to comprehend assembly-based governance and join the initiative. We proudly launched new websites for the State Assemblies, tailored to support each State’s Nationals with localized information, events, and updates. Additionally, Local Assembly websites are ready for roll-out, empowering grassroots engagement and fostering collaboration at the community level.

Credential Cards Initiative

With the addition of new printing capabilities and website upgrades, Credential Cards for reconveyed State Nationals are now available. This initiative has been warmly welcomed, with its benefits becoming increasingly apparent as more participants utilize the cards.

Preparation for the Public Education Tour

In preparation for the 2025 Public Education Tour, thousands of copies of Anna Von Reitz’s "You Know Something is Wrong When..." have been printed and complemented with twenty-five autographs from almost one hundred dedicated State Nationals. These books will be distributed to policy enforcers at all levels of "GovCo." This powerful tool will educate individuals about their role within a fraudulent system deliberately harming and exploiting them. This initiative will also highlight the necessary and non-belligerent work of the assemblies, hand-in-hand with the PKTF Liaisons wherever possible.

Growing Participation in Assemblies

The number of reconveyed State Nationals has grown steadily throughout 2024, with increasing levels of active participation in both State and Local Assemblies. This progress demonstrates that TASA is not just inspiring awareness but also empowering meaningful action.

Launch of The Terra Australisan

In December, we celebrated the launch of The Terra Australisan, a national forty-page quality community paper dedicated to empowering readers with tools, knowledge, and solutions for building a world free from oppression. By focusing on lawful self-governance, historical insights, and community empowerment, The Terra Australisan has become a powerful voice for the assemblies.

TAPKTF Developments

The Terra Australis PKTF (Peace Keeping Task Force) received a significant boost this year. Richard Evans was appointed National Coordinator; a dedicated website was launched; and groundwork for a recruitment program began. The assemblies eagerly look forward to working with Richard and his team in 2025 to bring peacekeeping, emergency response, and defense structures to life.

Building a Unified Vision for 2025

Throughout the year, we’ve worked tirelessly to foster unity and cooperation, ensuring that diverse voices within our community are heard. With an array of powerful communication tools now in place, we are poised to take even greater strides in 2025.

Why These Achievements Matter

These milestones demonstrate the growing strength, purpose, and influence of TASA. By building the infrastructure for assembly-based self-governance, connecting with communities across Terra Australis, and educating individuals about the path to freedom, we are reclaiming our ability to govern ourselves. The work accomplished in 2024 has set a solid foundation for even greater achievements in the year ahead. Together, we are shaping a future where governance reflects the will of the people rather than corporate or foreign interests.

Here’s to an inspiring and transformative 2025!

Future Communications Systems to Assist with Catastrophic Rescue and Recovery Missions at the State Level.

Achievable Peacekeeping Scenario: Enhanced Emergency Communications Framework

In this scenario, we'll explore how a lawful, peaceful organization like The American States Assemblies could pioneer an innovative approach to emergency communications, working within existing legal structures while pushing for progressive policy changes.

Proposed Concept:

State Border Defense Reserve Militia Communications Corps

Envision a State Border Defense concept where:

The American States Assemblies establish a specialized communications unit within the framework of state-recognized militia organizations.
This unit focuses on developing robust emergency communication capabilities that can be rapidly deployed during crises.

Possible Future Implementation:

Lawful and Legal Framework:

Work with state legislators to create or modify laws recognizing these units and their communication roles.
Establish clear protocols for activation only during declared emergencies.

Proposed Accrediting and Training:

Implement an accelerated licensing program for corps members, emphasizing emergency protocols and regulations.
Conduct regular drills and exercises to maintain readiness.

Equipment and Infrastructure:

Invest in state-of-the-art, software-defined radios capable of operating on multiple frequencies.
Develop a network of resilient, off-grid communication hubs across the state.

Interoperability:

Create protocols for seamless integration with official emergency services.
Establish secure channels for coordination between militia units and government agencies.

Guideline Advocacy:

Push for legislation granting limited, emergency-only access to specific frequencies for certified corps members during crises.
Advocate for integration of these units into state and federal emergency response plans.

Potential Benefits:

Rapid deployment of communication networks in affected areas.
Enhanced coordination between community-based responders and official agencies.
Increased community resilience and self-reliance during disasters.
A model for other states to follow, potentially leading to a nationwide network.

Challenges and Considerations:

Ensuring strict adherence to FCC regulations and emergency protocols.
Addressing potential concerns about militia groups having enhanced communication capabilities.
Maintaining clear chains of command and preventing unauthorized use.
Balancing community-led initiatives with government oversight.

This scenario presents a viable approach to leveraging community resources for emergency communications. It would require careful planning, strong safeguards, and close cooperation with government agencies to ensure legality and effectiveness. The concept could spark interesting discussions about the future of emergency preparedness and community involvement in crisis response.

The Most Effective Means For Conflict Resolution

The evening was felt less comforting than it would have been as the sun went over the crystal blue, cloudless horizon for me yesterday.

It was myself, along with a complete roster of The Continental Marshals invited to a special meeting for a particular growing American State Assembly to the south. I must say this meeting was quite unique! However, regardless of the rarity of those having attended, the theme of the cause for the meeting itself was the familiar "Conflict Resolution" issue.

And, I must also say these particular conflicts are largely - similarly internal by nature of the details, and are (almost entirely) the same relative conflict details my team and I have witnessed other Assemblies struggle through, and who have now also arrived at the other end with impressive perseverance!

The genre continues to be an all-too familiar selection among the people. The theme of the scenario is also well known. The stage has been set. The only differences in this occasion, though are the simply location of the altercation and the people involved are - themselves fairly new to the scene.

The remedy, however, for the repeat occurrence of train wreck type drama scenarios is (and will always appear to be) a proper and complete internal conflict cooperative resolution asset service.

A possible abstract depiction of a State-elected Marshal-at-Arms and State Assembly-appointed Ombudsman Service

If only for the fact that the Federation of States thought it best to have both The Continental Marshals Service and The Peacekeeping Task Force in special attendance to offer help by sharing joint perspectives on the issues - was, indeed an interesting, and uniquely productive opportunity!

This particular Assembly has reported to have been grappling with such issues for a significant amount of time already (perhaps for well over a year). And, although those currently serving within the Assembly does appear to be active and eager to grow their Assembly, they currently lack one or two elements built to help restore harmony amongst mounting issues.

Please meet:

  • The State-elected Marshal-at-Arms

&

  • The State Assembly-appointed Ombudsman Service

Without both these service providers; one State-elected to maintain singular loyalty to the State Assembly organization itself.

...and the other (a separate and impartial organization) an Assembly-appointed role built to offer an exclusive environment by effectively intercepting bonified grievances to a proper setting - thereby shielding the General Assembly meeting floor from excess internal issues.

And, of course, this then sets the entire service journey of Conflict Resolution into a very impressive productive motion!

Needless to say, without both internal peacekeepers working in correct tandem to deal with real, or perceived conflict, then this (as well as any other government service structure) will falter, become stagnant, grow bitter towards serving members, accuse others, one to another frequently for any negative progress, and so on.

Regardless of the scenario. Regardless of the Assembly. Regardless of the genuine honesty of the people and caliber of their Citizenry. Without an existing, balanced team of internal Assembly peacemakers geared around providing Conflict Resolution will always - always struggle unnecessarily!

To all other American State Assemblies currently without:

Please consider placing immediate focus on the service role of State-elected Marshal-at-Arms Assembly-appointed Ombudsman Service.

If there be a learning curve for either, or both service roles, then this is another fine opportunity to exercise self-governance by seeking knowledge and comprehension on how these two service measures work together providing excellent results of resolving most all internal conflicts.

We encourage reaching out to other industry leaders, other successful State Assemblies, as well as the annals of history to find valuable information on how these two Assembly peacemakers work together, and how they are designed to function as a most cohesive unit.
